When you Join the Community by becoming a PADI Divemaster, you align yourself with the largest and most respected dive group in the world—that of PADI Professionals. These are PADI Divemasters and Instructors sharing a passion for diving and an active concern for the health of the world’s underwater habitats.

Certification Requirements
- PADI Rescue Diver certification (or qualifying certification)
- completion of Emergency First Response® Primary and Secondary Care training (or qualifying training) within 24 months.
- Logged Dives: 40 logged dives minimum.
- Time: PADI eLearning: 10-16 hours –not including Dive Theory eLearning
- Entire course: Varies, contact us for more information
- Age: 18 (15 for Junior Divemaster)
- Health: Medically evaluated and cleared for diving by a physician within 12 months.

Interactive lessons cover divemaster-led programs and activities, diver safety and risk management, the aquatic environment and more. Study online or offline using a computer or mobile device. Step 2 With Your Instructor
Gain practical experience giving dive briefings, assisting with classes and leading underwater tours. Learn how to anticipate problems and provide assistance, create an Emergency Assistance Plan and improve your navigation and problem-solving skills through practical workshops
